Hold On To Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More Than Peers
This book’s main focus is attachment. It teaches us that attachment is instinctive for the child and most naturally towards the parents. That this is how it is intended and what is right and how it always was. However, as society has evolved children are now replacing healthy, nurturing parent-child attachment with attachment to peers and how dangerous that shift has been. It is very thorough and analytical, but extremely important and well-thought out.
