Terms of Service

Effective

These Terms cover your use of ReadWriteBuild (“RWB”), provided by ReadWriteBuild LLC. RWB offers family-learning and homeschool-record tools for families in the United States.

1. Your family account

An account must be created and managed by an adult parent, legal guardian, or other adult authorized to provide information about the children in the account. Children may use Activity Hub within the shared family account with parent or legal-guardian supervision. RWB does not provide separate child credentials or technical parent/child roles.

Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in links and codes. The adult account holder is responsible for supervising account use, billing, and formal homeschool records. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Membership and cancellation

Your checkout shows your price, billing interval, and any free trial. Membership renews automatically at the disclosed price and interval until canceled. Cancel before your trial ends to avoid the first charge, or before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Your account and billing portal show the applicable dates. Access to membership features depends on an active trial or paid membership. A failed renewal payment may interrupt access until billing is resolved.

To cancel, open My Account, select Your Membership, and confirm cancellation in the billing portal. Access continues through the displayed trial or paid-period end date. Cancellation does not itself reverse a completed charge or request deletion of your account or records.

Our Cancellation Policy explains cancellation and refunds. These Terms do not change the billing terms already disclosed for an existing membership, trial, or checkout. Contact us for billing questions or help canceling.

3. Your content and privacy

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You give RWB permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to operate and support the service for you, including through our service providers. This does not give us permission to publicly post your private family records or use your photos in advertising.

Provide only content you are authorized to share. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, retention, and requests for access, copies, correction, or deletion. Keep your own copies of important records and uploads.

4. Using RWB responsibly

Do not use RWB unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, upload harmful content, attempt to access another family’s account, or disrupt or compromise the service. You may use RWB and its materials for your family’s personal learning and recordkeeping; you may not resell the service or redistribute our materials commercially without permission.

5. Service limitations

RWB is an organizational tool, not a school, accreditation service, or source of legal advice. You are responsible for checking your records and meeting the education and recordkeeping requirements that apply to your family. We do not guarantee educational outcomes, acceptance of a report, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

6. Ending or restricting access

You may stop using RWB at any time; stopping use does not cancel a subscription. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, fraud, a security risk, or a legal requirement. When reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Contact us about billing or access to your records if your account is restricted.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice or request agreement when required by law. An update does not retroactively change the terms of an existing dispute.
